Mission

Hi! My name is Lara Sitruk and I'm a Portugal-based visual artist whose work is shaped by a profound love and appreciation for nature, culture and everything in between.

At the heart of my artwork is a deep exploration of the interconnected relationship between humanity and the wild.

By treating all living things - including rivers and mountains - as sacred, my art serves as a grounding call for a more balanced and humble relationship with the earth.

Sustainability¶

In line with my vision to be kind to our planet and appreciate our nature, comes the responsibility to work as sustainable as possible.

My art is printed on eco-friendly paper. It's printed and packaged in the nearest location where the order is placed, to reduce the eco-footprint, eliminating plastic completely where possible.

The t-shirts are all made of organic cotton, soft and durable.

Upcycling¶

A big passion of mine is creating new things out of old things, giving materials that would have become waste a new life.

It's a creative challenge (and so much fun) to see the potential of a second-hand garment with just some sowing or an embroidery, or imagining a new woven seat for an old discarded wooden chair.

Most things just need a little (or a lot) of love.

Animal Welfare¶

Besides reducing my footprint and waste for a better environment, I care deeply about animals, which is reflected in my art and most materials I use.

It's essential that, with my love for all beings, no animals are harmed in my work. This goes for both my professional as private life.
